Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (for account creation and notifications)
- Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)
- Telegram chat ID (if you connect Telegram for alerts)
X/Twitter Authentication Tokens
Our browser extension collects X/Twitter session cookies (auth_token and ct0) from your browser when you explicitly click "Connect X Account". These tokens are:
- Encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
- Transmitted only over secure HTTPS connections
- Used solely to monitor accounts and keywords you specify
- Never shared with third parties
- Deletable at any time via the extension or dashboard
Monitor Configuration
- X accounts you choose to monitor
- Keywords and search terms you configure
- Filter preferences (verified only, follower thresholds, etc.)
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the monitoring and alert service you requested
- To send alerts via Telegram when monitored accounts post
- To authenticate your access to the dashboard
- To improve our service and fix issues
Browser Extension Permissions
Our Chrome/Edge extension requests the following permissions:
Required to read your X/Twitter session tokens for monitoring
Stores your API token and connection preferences locally
Required to access cookies from X/Twitter domains only
Data Security
- All X/Twitter tokens are encrypted using Fernet (AES-256) before storage
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with salt
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
- Database access restricted to application services only
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your X tokens at any time via the browser extension or dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
Your Rights
- Access: View your stored monitors and settings in the dashboard
- Deletion: Remove X tokens anytime; request full account deletion
- Disconnect: Revoke X connection via extension or dashboard
- Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
Third-Party Services
- Telegram: We send alerts via Telegram Bot API to your connected chat
- Stripe: Payment processing (if you upgrade to a paid plan)
We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
